Hand remote
This project is a small practice project focused on exploring real-time communication using WebSockets in combination with web-based 3D modeling. The main goal was to enable interaction between multiple devices within a shared 3D scene.
The application features a 3D hand with five fingers, modeled and rendered directly in the browser. A separate controller interface, accessible via a different URL (/controls), allows real-time control of the hand. Through this controller, the fingers can be individually moved and their length adjusted.
By using WebSockets, all interactions are instantly synchronized across connected clients. This makes it possible to open the controller on a mobile phone while displaying the 3D hand on another device, such as a TV or desktop screen. Input from the phone is immediately reflected in the 3D scene.
