Pollparty is a live voting system developed as part of an elective course, with a strong focus on real-time communication using WebSockets. The goal of this project was to build an interactive application where multiple users can participate simultaneously and receive instant feedback.

Within Pollparty, an admin can create a question and add multiple answer options. A room can then be created, either public or protected with a password, allowing participants to join securely. Once the admin starts the room, the poll becomes active.

Participants can vote on the question, after which the results are updated and displayed in real time for all connected users. By leveraging WebSockets, vote updates are synchronized instantly without requiring page reloads.

Pollparty is well-suited for group decision-making scenarios, such as choosing a movie with a larger group. This project provided hands-on experience with real-time data synchronization, room-based architectures, and building interactive multi-user web applications.
